The boy and I escaped to the country for his birthday for some rest and relaxation. We had a couple of gorgeous Spring days walking in the afternoons thus excusing ourselves huge dinners afterwards.
The boy did well this Valentines day with a few well selected stems. Having Christmas, Valentine's Day and our birthdays all within 3 months can get a bit much (and feel a bit greedy) so this cute gesture was perfect.
Here's a peek into my make-up bag, it's a highly edited selection of things I use day to day;
As you can see, I'm a sucker for Benefit, their Lip Plump, High Beam and Bad Gal eyeliner are my make-up must haves. I don't wear much foundation but when I do I go for Hydra Zen tinted moisturiser by Lancome, it's so light and is incredibly easy to apply with your fingers, I'm all about low maintenance make-up! I also use Rodial Glamtox Eye Light for any dark circles and a Pout mascara which I love as the brush is tiny.
My boyfriend and I jetted off at the end of last year to enjoy a bit of winter warmth in the Maldives and Sri Lanka. We stayed at the amazing Zithali Resort in the Maldives and at The Fortress in Sri Lanka. The whole trip was pure luxury and I felt very spoiled! Fell back down to earth with a bump when we returned but I definitely felt refreshed to start the new year. Although I am still craving hot sunshine.
outfit: top H&M, skirt ASOS, shoes MARC JACOBS, belt VINTAGE
Apart from alot of old school hip hop, Lykke Li's Wounded Rhymes was the soundtrack to my holiday.

A trip to North Africa and some much needed quality time with my beau. We ate, we shopped, we climbed mountains and did the tourist trail and then we had a few pefect days in our own pool villa at Les Deux Tours. Now I just need my retain my tan.
These are a few of the goodies I am coveting now it's time to shrug off a some dark layers. Absolutely love the entire TBA spring collection but my favourite is this super cute bow collared floral dress, especially when paired with the matching loose blazer. These House of Harlow boots are cheating a little bit as they've been around a while and I got them as a present the other day but I'm still stickin 'em in as my spring shoe! Accessories maketh the outfit and my top two are this cute Daisy Chakra bracelet and classic McQueen scarf in fresh colours. Finally, rosy, Elizabeth Bennett style complexion to be achieved with Dermalogica ultracalming toner and Chantecaille blush.
